History

Sleep Dep Games was founded in 2017 by a lifelong gamer, independent developer, and podcaster. After years of developing game engines and development tools, 3D modeling, and writing stories, the question arose: why not focus our efforts?

Philosophy

In a time when AAA games struggle to be profitable without resorting to unpopular microtransactions or subscriptions, we focus on the basics: the fun. While a number of studios pride themselves on bleeding-edge graphics, hundred-hour experiences, and massive worlds, independent studios must remain laser focused. The games you'll see us releasing take cues from a time when games were better defined by their raw fun, emotionality, and challenge.
